Police investigating three allegations of attempted abductions in the Calderdale area have released a 59 year old man arrested on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said the man has been released without charge and eliminated from their enquiries
Superintendent Martin Lister of Calderdale Police, said: “We continue to act upon the information from the public and this very much remains an on going investigation.
“I am appealing directly to the community to come forward with any information and to report any suspicious activity they see to police.
“If you see anything that concerns you or looks out of place then please allow police to deal with it. If you see a suspicious vehicle, for example, take a note of the registration or take a photo and let officers know.
“We are investigating every bit of information passed on to us by the public and the local neighbourhood policing officers continue to patrol the area.
“Anyone who can assist in our enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 quoting Operation Hopeberry or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.”
