Officers investigating the disappearance of a man from Huddersfield have released a new photo of him.

Daruisz Michalowski, 46, was last seen at his home on Macaulay Road in Birkby, Huddersfield by family on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at around 2.30pm.

He told his cousin that he was going to visit friends in the Lockwood area but never returned home and has not been seen since.

Mr Michalowski moved to the UK from Poland in 2010. It is thought he worked as a gardener at Nostell Priory as well as doing some agency work. However, it was known that he was down about being unemployed.

He is described as a white Polish man, 5ft 5ins tall and slim.

He has receding black hair and is generally clean shaven.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a black and grey jumper, dark coloured sports trousers and a black sports cap.

It is known that Dariusz has links to London, Manchester and Norwich. He has previously worked in Norway, Germany and Denmark.

Anyone with any information about Dariusz Michalowski’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Amanda Middleton on 101.
