MORE than 80 vehicles were stopped and three people arrested in a crackdown on crime.
Officers from Halifax North and East neighbourhood policing team worked with other agencies to check traffic travelling though Northowram and Shelf,
One vehicle was seized for no insurance and two drivers were dealt with by VOSA for having defective vehicles.
On the same day, officers swooped on three buildings in Mixenden, Halifax, looking for drugs. A man, aged 36, and a woman, aged 33, were arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and handling stolen goods. Suspected cannabis and bikes believed to have been stolen were found.
A 45-year-old man was given a warning for possession of cannabis and a 30-year-old man was cautioned for the production of cannabis.
