Quad bike seized in Calderdale as police target anti-social use of off-road vehicles

Police officers in Calderdale have seized this quad bike as the force looks to clampdown on the anti-social use of vehicles.

A priority for the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team is the anti-social use of off-road vehicles.

An officer from the policing team was patrolling the Ovenden area when he saw this quad bike on the road.

It was seized due to not having insurance, no MOT or tax.

A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Please be aware that off-road vehicles can only be used ‘OFF-ROAD’ unless they are registered, have insurance, road tax and a valid MOT."
