Robbers smash window of man’s car in Huddersfield

Police in Huddersfield are looking for two robbers who chased a man and smashed one of the windows of his car.

The victim - a man in his 20s - had just got out of his car on Larch Road in Paddock when he was approached by a man who threatened a man and demanded he hand over his bag.

The victim threw the bag at the man and ran off but was chased by two me who followed him for a short distance before returnign to his car where they used a brick to smash a back window and stole toold from inside.

They then ran off towards Heaton Road and got into a car which sped off.

The suspect who approached the man is described as a black man, about 5ft 11ins tall. He was wearing a white hooded top under a dark baseball jacket, blue jeans and white and blue Adidas trainers.

The other man was about 5ft 7ins. He was wearing dark clothing and his face was covered.

Anyone with information about the robbery, at around 7pm on Friday, is asked to contact Detective Constable Divek Singh Ubhi at Huddersfield CID on 101.
