Robbers with knife and gun attack petrol station in Halifax last night

A masked gang armed with a knife and a suspected handgun attacked a petrol station in Halifax last night.

At 9.30pm, three people burst into Cote Hill Service Station on Burnley Road and threatened a member of staff inside.

The worker handed over cash and cigarettes and the gang ran off towards King Cross.

The worker suffered minor hand injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

All the gang had their faces covered.

They were all described as in their 30s to 40s and of heavy build.
