Teen suffers facial injuries as gang armed with knives raid Brighouse house

A teenager has been left with facial injuries after he discovered a gang of men armed with knives in a Brighouse house.

Police officers were called at 12.53pm on Tuesday. the 19-year-old heard voices downstairs at the house in Grange Lane, Clifton.

He opened the door downstairs and found a man wearing a balaclava. The male was startled and ran off, but there were other males in the property who were armed with knives.

The suspects threatened the victim and also assaulted him, causing him injuries to his face.

They all made off from the scene in a vehicle.

A bag with some jewellery was taken from the property.
