Sergeant Darren Bedford of the Brighouse Neighbourhood Policing Team said; “Clearly this is a very unusual and distinctive item to have been stolen, and may have drawn attention due to the over-sized load for the size of the vehicle used and that it was around the evening rush hour when the item was taken.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have been in and around the area of the Branxholme Industrial Estate around 6pm on Tuesday 21 February and may have seen anyone in the vicinity who drew their attention, or who have seen the described vehicle with or without the container to come forward.

“Equally, anyone who has any information about the theft, or who knows where the container may be now should contact police via 101 quoting 13170083803. Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The skip was taken from North West Media Services Ltd.

Director Steve McGregor, who sent in the pictures of the CCTV, said the business will have to pay the bill of £4,500 following the theft.
