Thieves steal mini bus from Calderdale school that teaches children with disabilities and special education needs

Thieves have broken into a Calderdale school that teaches children with disabilities and stolen their mini bus.

The suspects broke into the grounds of Highbury School in Rastrick on Monday this week.

The school based on Lower Edge Road shared the despicable act on its Facebook and how the thieves broke the school gates.

The school posted: "At 6.20 pm our gates were broken and our school minibus was stolen from within our grounds.

"We are all so upset as we were looking forward to being able to go out as restrictions are lifted. If anyone has any information which may be useful please contact the school. Thank you."

Highbury School is a specialist school providing highly specialist education for children with a wide range of complex special educational needs and disabilities from ages 3-11.
