Thousands of cannabis plants were found in a disused Calderdale mill after a public tip off.

Police officers attended a the building in Burnley Road, Todmorden, on Monday.

A member of the public had reported suspicious activity in that area.

Two men have appeared in court in connection with the find.

Fatjon Biba, aged 27 of Birkenhead, and Ensualo Ndreca, aged 21 of Halifax, were arrested and charged with production of a class B drug.

They appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court and have been remanded until their next appearance.
