West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle on Wakefield Road, Brighouse.

Officers out on patrol spotted the Ford Transit van which had an expired MOT.

When the van was searched 2,500 packets of counterfeit cigarettes were found.

West Yorkshire Trading Standards are now assisting West Yorkshire Police with their enquiries.
