Windows were smashed and gas hobs were left on during a string of yob attacks on shops on Lightcliffe Road in Brighouse.

Three shops were victims of the vandals on Tuesday night - B Medina Asian Takeaway, Mark Frydays and Green’s Bread.

Riaz Ahmed Khan, who owns B Medina Asian Takeaway, said his front and rear windows were broken, his security door bent in two, and cookers left on, causing gas to run through the shop overnight.
He said: “I am shocked and disgusted with what has happened. We are like a family in these shops and are always looking out for each other. It’s terrible it has happened to us.”

Anyone with information about the attacks should call police on 101.
