Two men in hospital after Huddersfield knife fight


Two males are in hospital after a fight involving a knife in Huddersfield town centre.

At 5am this morning (Sunday) police were alerted to a disturbance in Queen’s Street after CCTV operators identified a male brandishing a knife, fighting with another male. A 34-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, both of Huddersfield were arrested at the scene and the knife was recovered by police.

Both males are now in hospital being treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing and Huddersfield police have asked anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference number 357.
