Two people summoned to court for driving offences in Todmorden

A 48-year-old woman was stopped by police in Todmorden.

Officers discovered the woman was not insured to drive the vehicle and only had a provisional licence.

A 44-year-old man was the passenger and the owner of the van and he had allowed her to drive knowing she wasn’t legally allowed.

Both the man and the woman will now be summoned to court. The woman for driving without insurance and driving licence offences and the man for permitting her to drive.

The van was also recovered and taken to the police compound.
