Update: Man charged with manslaughter of Andrew Feather in Halifax nightclub

A 25-year-old man has been charged with the manslaughter of a man who died in a Halifax nightclub, over the weekend.

Dale Mclean, 25, from Huddersfield will appear before Calderdale Magistrates’ today (February 12) after being charged with the manslaughter of 38-year-old Andrew Feather (pictured).

Halifax RUFC player Andrew Feather, of Hipperholme, died after an incident in Liquid nightclub, Halifax, in the early hours of Sunday.

Andrew’s family issued the following statement in tribute to him: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Andrew this weekend. He was a loving person to everyone that knew him.

“He was gentle, caring and a good sportsman with a fantastic life ahead of him which has been devastatingly cut short.

“He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched and that is many many people.

“The family ask to be left alone to grieve the loss of a son, father, partner and brother at this deeply difficult time.”
