Update: Man killed after being hit by lorry in Brighouse
Police have re-opened Elland Road in Brighouse following a fatal collision earlier this afternoon (Tuesday).
A man was killed after being hit by an articulated lorry of Elland Road, close to The Casa Hotel, at 2.07pm.
Police are in the process of contacting the man’s next-of-kin and have not released his name.
The A6025 Elland Road was closed in both directions for more than three hours.
Officers diverted traffic via alternative routes.
