Police suspect no foul play in the deaths of two women whose bodies were found at a house in Halifax

The bodies of the women, aged 56 and 69, were found at a house in Fenton Road, King Cross, at 7.20pm on Good Friday.

The deaths have been passed on to the coroner’s office and Detective Superintendent Mark Ridley said the women died in “non-supcious” and “sad circumstances”.

“Postmortem examinations have been conducted and both deaths are being treated as non-suspicious,” he said.

“These women have died in sad circumstances and their deaths have now been passed to the coroner’s office.”
