It is thought that she was taken on Saturday January 3 from a van that was parked by The Spring Rock public house on Rochdale Road, Greetland. The incident happened between 4.30pm and 7pm.

Officers are particularly concerned for Bramble’s welfare because she suffers from epilepsy and fits if not given medication.

PC Matthew Howarth of the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I would appeal for anyone with information about this to get in contact. Bramble is a much loved and missed family pet and her owners are desperate for her to be returned safely.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101.
