Vans being targeted for power tools
The warning comes after two vans were broken into on Claremount Road, Boothtown, on Monday and power tools were taken.
Detective Inspector Craig Lord, of Calderdale Police, said there had also been other incidents in the district over recent weeks.

“We want people to take their property out of their van at night and put up notices telling thieves that no power tools are on board.
“We’re also asking people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.”
Det Lord, who said power tools were being stolen to be sold on, confirmed police are making enquiries into the two incidents in Boothtown.
Anyone with information about those incidents or anyone with information about power tool thefts should call the police via 101.
