Woman, 70, assaulted during burglary in Rastrick

A 70-year-old woman has been assaulted during a burglary in Rastrick.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary in Crowtrees Lane on Wednesday, November 20.

It happened at around 5.15pm.

Officers are particularly keen to trace anyone who saw a white man, around 6ft tall, and in his early 30’s. He has short black hair, wearing a black canvas jacket and hanging around the Crowtrees Lane area on Wednesday afternoon.

They would also like to speak to anyone in that area who had an uninvited caller come to the door.

Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw any suspicious activity is asked to contact Calderdale CID on 101.
