Woman has car robbed in Bradford

Police are appealing for information following the robbery of a car in Bradford.

The incident happened at about 8.10pm on Monday, March 31, when two men approached a woman in the car park of the Tesco supermarket in Great Horton Road and demanded the keys to her white Seat Leon.

The woman refused, but one of the suspects grabbed her arm while the other took the keys from her, before they drove off out of the car park towards the city centre. No weapon was seen.

Both of the men were described as white, over six feet tall and of slim build. One was wearing a woolly hat, while the other was wearing a hooded coat.

Det Insp Richard Partis, of Bradford District CID, said: “At the time of this incident, the supermarket was still open and it is likely that someone will have seen the struggle that took place, or perhaps they would have seen the vehicle leave the car park and drive off towards the city centre.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Andy Garland at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
