Crowds brave the weather at Todmorden Carnival
The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of visitors at the Todmorden Carnival as crowds lined the streets for this year’s event.
Chairman Philip Clarke said: “It went really well despite the weather. There were around 1,500 people there.
“That’s down on what we’d usually get but I think we’ve done quite well.
There were some good crowds and the parade was really good.”
