D-Day for Halifax town centre and how it will look in the future if plans are approved
A landmark decision is due on how Halifax town centre will look in the future as major plans will be decided by a Calderdale Council's planning committee next Tuesday.
Calderdale Council has submitted plans for Halifax town centre and the main A629 road route improvements works, which form the second of five phases of a comprehensive scheme to provide a multi-modal transport corridor between Halifax and Huddersfield. However the plans could have hit a stumbling block. If plans are approved, this is how Halifax could look in the future.
