The Prime Minister David Cameron revealed his new year’s resolution during a visit to Halifax this morning.
When asked, Mr Cameron said his resolution is: “to be more helpful with my children’s homework - I think I’ve been letting Mrs Cameron do too much.
“I was watching over Christmas just how incredibly disciplined she is at getting them to sit down and helping with their homework, and I thought to myself ‘David, it’s time to do a bit more’.”
Mr Cameron visited Dean Clough to launch the Conservative party’s election campaign.
Halifax is a marginal seat which could be key if the Conservatives hope to secure a majority in the May elections.
