An RSPCA volunteer will have her hair shaved off to raise funds for the Halifax, Huddersfield & District Branch of the charity and Cancer Research UK.
Jan Dodsworth is a regular volunteer at the RSPCA Queens Road Charity Shop, King Cross, Halifax and up until the day of the head shave she is changing her hair style on a daily basis.
She also recently took part in the RSPCA Catnapped and Held to Ransom challenge.
Kath Airey, RSPCA Hon. trustee said “Jan is a fantastic volunteer, she gives her time freely and is always ready to join in all our events, but above all she is passionate about animal welfare and knows that being a
volunteer really can make a difference.”
Jan will have her hair shaved off in the Feathers Public House, King Cross on August 31 at 2pm.
Anyone who would like to support Jan can call in at the RSPCA Charity Shop on Queens Road, Halifax or pop along to the Feathers on the day.
