There are delays on the Northern Rail service between Leeds and Halifax due to signal problems.

The 7:13am Leeds to Manchester Victoria train, which was due at 8:53am, has now been cancelled due to delays.

Meanwhile, due to a train fault, the 7:30am Huddersfield to Leeds train, due at 8:29am, is being delayed from Huddersfield by 20 minutes.

It should be a clear but chilly day in Calderdale, with dry weather forecast throughout the day (Wednesday) but temperatures will reach no higher than nine degrees celsuis in mid-afternoon.

The weather is then expected to get more cloudy later in the week.

There is slow traffic on the A644 Brighouse And Denholme Road in Denholme Clough at the B6145 Thornton Road junction, because of a traffic light failure.
