Detectives close sexual assault investigation
Detectives have closed their investigation into reports of a serious sexual assault in Wyke.
They were investigating an alleged incident down a snicket between Clare Road and Green Lane on Friday, August 14.
Dete Ch Insp Richard Holmes, of the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team, said:“Further enquiries have been carried out into this matter to establish the facts, and police are now satisfied that no offences were committed.
“The complainant has been referred to our partner agencies for further support.”
