Doing town proud on The Voice

A local lad will take to the stage when he appears on The Voice this weekend.

Halifax actor Tom Milner will face the famous red chairs tomorrow when he sings ‘Wait on Me’ by Rixton.

Speaking about his experience, Tom, 24, said: “To get the chance to perform in front of four professionals who have fantastic careers and to listen to their advice is something that doesn’t come along every day, so for that I’m grateful.

“I’m unbelievably nervous but I’ll do my best. For me, this is success already. Anything else is a bonus.”

Tom is best known for his role as Paul Langley in BBC TV drama series Waterloo Road.

He appeared in the show for four years and his other film and television credits include Holby City, Starlings and Doctors.
