Keith Harris has Parkinson’s disease and lung and heart conditions and receives home care visits by Halifax firm Precious Passionate Care.

After mentioning his dream to the company’s quality assurance manager Gareth Downes, it was arranged for him to attend their home match with Burnley on October 29.

“He was over the moon and quite emotional,” Gareth said.

“I spoke with the executive team at Manchester United and they kindly said they would give us two free tickets to watch them play against Burnle.

“I went and watched the game with him and one of our carers took his wife to the Trafford Centre for the day.

“It was a really emotional day and it was so rewarding to make his dreams come true.

“As we walked into the stadium he turned to me and said ‘we`ve done it mate’.

“He was so happy. During the game he got to meet Fred the Red and he also got to meet Ander Herrera after the game.”
