Drivers escape with minor injuries after Halifax crash

Drivers escaped with minor injuries following a two-crash in Halifax this morning (Sunday).

The smash happened on Huddersfield Road, close to the junction of Stafford Avenue, at around 9am.

It involved a silver BMW and an Audi 4x4. One car crashed into the central reservation, destroying railings and causing damage to traffic lights.

Police said that one car was extensively damaged but both male drivers, aged 29 and 54, escaped with minor injuries only.
