A group of fundraisers from Calderdale will be putting their best feet forward for an Easter walk in aid of Calderdale Smartmove.
The walk on Easter weekend, April 4 and 5, will see the participants travel 41 miles from the most eastern part of Calderdale to the most western point and back again.
Craig George, fundraising and relationship manager at Calderdale Smartmove, and five of his friends, have signed up for the event, but he is encouraging as many people as possible to join.
He said: “We’re hoping to raise as much as possible but it’d be great if we could somewhere near £2,000.
“There are six of us doing it at the moment but the more the merrier. Anybody is free to join in for all or part of the walk.
“As far as I know, nobody has attempted the walk before so we’re breaking new ground! Hopefully the weather stays dry for us as it’s a lovely walk.”
