Pupils from Holywell Green Primary School have been provided with useful lessons for life.

Halifax firm Solvay has provided almost £1,000 to pay for educational packs featuring cartoon characters Barney and Echo, designed to help young children address problems associated with bullying, vandalism and other forms of anti-social behaviour as they progress through school, and then into the workplace.

John Hamnett, site director, said they were delighted to support the worthwhile initiative.

Head teacher Paul McVeigh thanked the company for its support.
