Giant sporting stars paid a visit to students at an Elland high school.
Huddersfield Giants rugby players Luke Robinson and Kruise Leeming dropped in on year seven students at Brooksbank School, Victoria Road.
The sportsmen joined a coaching session and shared their sporting skills with the youngsters.
Leeming, a former Brooksbank School student, has been playing professionally for his team for three years and Robinson has 15-years experience in the Super League to share with young Brooksbank sporting hopefuls.
Luke told the young audience: “It’s an opportunity to get an insight into what a professional athlete does on a day-to-day basis – training, and lots of it.”
Coaching was open to boys, girls, and even those who have never played rugby before.
“The skills learned are transferable to any sport and are designed to make you better athletes in whatever sport you want to play,” added Luke.
“Most of all, it’s about having fun Enjoying yourself is what sport is all about,” he said.
The exclusive training sessions begin after Spring bank holiday.
