Campaigners to gather at Tesco against lads mags

White Ribbon Campaign and partners are gathering outside the store in Aachen Way calling on the store to stop selling magazines such as Nuts and Zoo as part of a national day of action.

They feel it fuels attitudes underpinning violence against women, they can breach equality legislation and it flouts Tesco’s own policy of not selling ‘adult’ magazines.
