FC Halifax Town chairman David Bosomworth says the club is in for a fantastic spell in the national spotlight.
Town’s FA Cup clash with West Yorkshire neighbours Bradford City will be screened live on BT Sport at noon on Sunday, November 9.
That is followed by their home game with Woking on Sunday, November 16 also being screened live on BT Sport, two days before England C host Estonia under 23s at the Shay in their final International Challenge Trophy game.
The Halifax chairman is excited at the schedule and is looking forward to seeing some Town stars feature in the England C game.
He said: “It should be a really good few days for the club.
“The Bradford match is going to be a great one for the cameras. Then it’s the Woking game on the following Sunday and then we’re straight into the England game.
“Hopefully we’ll have some players involved if they’re selected.
“Obviously Marc Roberts and Matt Pearson have both been playing recently.
“James Bolton had been called-up to a get-together at St George’s Park but he picked up an injury so wasn’t able to go.
“Whether he gets a chance for this game or anyone else in our squad I don’t know.”
Mr Bosomworth is keen for as many supporters to attend the game as possible, which is free to watch.
He added: “It’s wonderful to have an England international at the Shay stadium.
“These opportunities don’t come round too often - let’s make it a real success.
“We really want to get a good gate.”
Sports clubs, schools and community groups have the chance to be flag-bearers and ball boys and girls.
