Officers were called to a building fire in derelict Leeds school yesterday (Saturday).

The incident happened at St Marys School, St Johns Road, Woodhouse, at around 4.11pm.

When fire crews arrived they found that 20 per cent of the ground floor of the property was alight.

They used four breathing apparatus and two large jets to extinguish fire.
