Firefighters from Halifax attended a car fire this afternoon (Friday).

Crews were called to the Sainsbury’s superstore on Wade Street, following reports that a Ford C-MAX had set alight in the petrol station forecourt.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, which is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault.

Crews left at approximately 3.30pm.
