Firefighters attended a chemical spillage in Bradford this morning (Saturday).

Crews from Odsal and Hazmat specialists were called to Rooley Lane at 10.30am following reports that a HGV had spilled chemicals across the road.

The chemicals, which had spilt on the road from the top of the M606 motorway to the Asda Superstore on Rooley Lane, were non-toxic but had mixed with water, making the road slippery.

The spillage is still being cleared and there is still traffic congestion in the area.
