Firefighters called to house fire in Boothtown

Firefighters were called to a house fire in Boothtown this morning (Friday).

Crews from Halifax and Illingworth attended the incident at a house on Boothtown Road at 12.50am.

However when firefighters from Halifax and Illingworth the fire, which was located in the living room, had been extinguished by the occupants.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Nobody was injured and firefighters left at 1.30am after securing the scene.
