Fire crews were called to help after a crash in Halifax today.

The accident involved two cars and happened on Gibbet Street shortly before 2.09pm.

Teams from Halifax and Illingworth fire stations freed one person who was trapped in a vehicle.

The casualty was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
