First look at the new Halifax Leisure Centre and swimming pool

This is glimpse of how the new Halifax Leisure Centre and Swimming pool could look in the near future as Calderdale Council asks for your opinions on the development.

As part of Calderdale’s Next Chapter, plans for a new combined swimming pool and leisure facility on the site of the existing North Bridge Leisure Centre are moving forward.

All the feedback will be collated and used to shape further plans for the project. The results will be presented to Cabinet later this year.

“We want Calderdale to be the most active borough in the North by 2021. To help achieve this ambitious target, it’s important that leisure facilities meet the needs of the people who will be using them.

“The feedback we receive from the current consultation will be used to shape our future plans for the new centre. So please make sure you have your say!”
