Flights resume at Leeds-Bradford Airport
Flights have resumed at Leeds-Bradford Airport after the heavy snowfall caused the runway to close today (Wednesday).
The snow and ice rendered the runway unusable for most of the day, meaning some flights had to be delayed or cancelled, but it has now been cleared by airport staff.
Meanwhile, the Orange Box young people’s centre in Halifax had to close early today due to the snow.
