Flooding: water poured down Walsden hillside

This picture taken by Norman Caddy shows the ferocity of the flood water which caused such serious problems in Walsden last night.

It shows water cascading down the hillside around the Fir Wood Close and Melbourne Terrace area, later flooding Walsden Railway Station and worsening the situation on Rochdale Road itself.
