Firefighterss were called to a blaze at a former Halifax takeaway for the second time this year.
Appliances from Halifax, Illingworth, Elland and Brighouse all attended the incident at the property on Silver Street at 7.40am yesterday (Monday).
The fire caused extensive damage to the first and second floor of the property and heat damage on the third and fourth floor.
Crews used three jets, one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the flames.
Nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and a fire investigator and police officers were at the scene.
Fire crews were last called to a fire at the property in January.
