Four people injured during '˜large disturbance' at Halifax house

A man has been charged with affray as four people were arrested in what police called '˜a large disturbance' at a house in Halifax.

The incident happened on Friday May 6 at 5.15pm on Albert Road, Pellon.

Four people were injured during the incident and have been treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Four men aged 30, 30, 23 and 16 were arrested on suspicion of affray and have been released on police bail.

A 45-year-old man was arrested, and charged over the weekend with affray.

Detective Inspector Craig Lord of Calderdale CID, said: “We are continuing to appeal for anyone who was in the area around Albert Road on Friday evening and may have seen or heard anything to come forward.

“Increased high visibility and covert patrols will be in the area to offer reassurance to residents and the wider community.”
