Children can make their own Christmas crafts, sing their favourite karaoke tunes, act out a Christmas scene, cook an alternative Christmas dinner, enter a table tennis tournament, climb to new heights in the bouldering tunnel or make party treats.

Organiser of Christmas at Orangebox, Jamie Eagleton, said: “We’ve got loads on to help young people at Christmas time whether they need to get organised for Christmas or want something to do in the holidays.

“Friday will be a great day as the young people can choose to help prepare a festive feast of turkey curry and vegetable curry served with vegetable samosas, naan bread, brussel sprout bhajis, red cabbage chutney and rice.

“They can then serve the curry to paying customers in the Orange Box café, which will be a perfect opportunity for parents and carers of those who have helped cook to get a taste of what they’ve been doing.”

Activities will run from 19 to 22 December 2pm–4pm and Friday 23 December 2pm-9pm.
