Fresh appeal over man attacked in Halifax as he walked to work

POLICE are rrenewing their appeal to help trace two witnesses following an assault in Pellon Lane, Halifax, last month.

Shortly after 5am on Monday, October 24, a 59-year-old man suffered face injuries when he was assaulted as he walked to work.

Police are still keen to speak to the driver of a taxi and his female passenger as potential witnesses to the incident.

Officers believe the taxi was grey and the female passenger was wearing a red coat.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail pending further inquiries.
