A fun day and It’s A Knockout contest is being held in honour of a brave girl from Elland with a rare genetic disorder.
Amelie Gledhill has Russell Silver Syndrome, a condition which limits her growth.
On Sunday, June 28, at Greetland Community Centre, 27 teams of adults and nine teams of children will compete in a bid to raise money for Amelie’s Fund.
The event promises to be the biggest event yet.
There will be fun for all the family, including a face painting stall, balloons, cake stall, sweet stall, fairground rides, a barbecue and the bar will also be open for drinks.
The day will run from 10am until 6pm and proceeds will go towards Amelie’s Fund to help Amelie and others.

Donations to the fund can also be made through the website.
