Fund raising team a knockout

Teams of employees of Brighouse-based Transline Group have competed in an ‘it’s a knockout’ style challenge, all in the name of raising funds for charity.

Following a successful month of madcap events and ferocious fundraising, which saw the international recruitment agency’s workforce raise more than £20,000, the grand finale event has added a further £5,000 to this total.

Transline’s two nominated charities are Teenage Cancer Trust and Overgate Hospice, at Elland, and the teams on the charity challenge day also split the £5,000 donation between the British Heart Foundation, Air Ambulance and St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield.

Jon Taylor and Paul Beasley, joint CEOs of Transline Group said: “It’s great to see our staff right across the business doing their bit for the community.

“It really shows what we can achieve when we come together as a team,” they added.

“We are all delighted with the difference we have been able to make to our nominated charities and are already looking forward to our next Transline charity drive.”
