Dozens of scooter and motorcycle riders set off on a round-trip to North Yorkshire to raise funds for the West Yorkshire Forget-Me-Not Children’s Hospice.
The route was chosen to link-in with the more famous rally challenge from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal.
It was organised by Keith Shaw and Phil Walton, of the Northowram-based Mutts Nuts Scooter Club.
Rider Andy Garrett, of the Yew Trees Pub, Northowram, said riders from other scooter and motorcycle clubs joined the convoy on route and received a commemorative patch.
They all paid to take part and a raffle was also held and hundreds of pounds was raised.
“It’s a great pleasue to take part and there is great comaraderie between the different scooter and motorcycle clubs,” said Mr Garrett.
It was the second year of the ride. Last year £600 was raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
